"HAPPY traces its DNA to a handshape Britt made me called ‘FJB' because it was for the Fiji / J bay comps when I was still competing occasionally. It was scanned and then passed around to the rest of the team for feedback. After a few years of tweaks it became a model and there’s a video of the team riding it on their site.
